About Me

A safe space

I began my career in Advertising, where I spent 12 years working for a variety of agencies and production companies.  I loved the creative environment, but struggled to feel truly connected to the work, finding myself unfulfilled at the end of a long day.  So, after a few years I trained as a listening volunteer for Samaritans, taking shifts after work or on the weekends.  It quickly became apparent that my interest and skill sets were better suited to the listening role than the advertising one.  This, combined with a hugely beneficial experience in personal therapy, set me on a path to retraining.

Today I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, offering both time-limited and open-ended therapy to adults 18+.  I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities, and am deeply committed to taking an intersectional approach which embraces difference and acknowledges the complexities of privilege and power.

Relationality is at the core of my therapy practice, so whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction or grief,  our therapeutic relationship will remain at the centre of our work together.  I may adapt the pace and style of our sessions to suit your specific needs, but I will consistently provide a safe space for you to explore whatever it is that is going on for you.
